The Venkanna Ratham
Yanam celebrates The Venkanna Festival every year veru grandly in the March of every year. A chariot containing idol of Lord Venkateswara weighing 15 tones gets dragged by 1.5lakh devotees during this festival. The prior events of these celebrations are Chakrateertham, Radha yatra and Ponnavahanam. The chariot was built initially in 1950 which got repaired in 1998 after getting damaged in a cyclone in 1996. The chariot gets dragged till Kunameddy junction whom was used to continue earlier all over Yanam.
