The Kali Temple was constructed in 1984 and is the shrine of the Goddess of Power (Shakti). This temple is located on the Ramakrishna Beach. This Kali Temple is built on the model of skeletal coral structure using bamboo and reinforced cement concrete. This temple is unique for modern, gorgeous architecture with tall pillars, minarets and arches. Within the temple complex there is a temple kitchen, an office and a quarter for the priest. Abutting the Kali Temple is another temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is most popular for its ‘rasalinga’ made of single stone of 10 kgs in weight.
