Draksharamam
Draksharamam is not only one in the pancharamas of Andhra Pradesh but also is one in the Trilingas.  Draksharamam is the most famous in all the temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.  It is generally believed that Sage Vyasa installed the lingam of Lord Shiva here.  According to the Sthalapuranam, Daksha performed yagna in this place and so this place is called Daksharamam or Daaksharaamam.  Daksha did not invite his daughter Parvathi and her husband Lord Shiva to the Yagna.  Parvathi herself goes there without being invited since it is her mother’s house.  Daksha insults Parvathi and unable to bear the humiliation Parvathi throws herself in to an Agnikundam.  For that reason no yagna is performed in this place even today.
