The Birla Mandir is built on the twin hillocks of the Naubat Pahad in 1976 and is located in southern end of Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad. The Birla Mandir is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara and is constructed with white marbles brought from Rajasthan. Birla’s- who are famous industrialists and had built several temples in India during this century, has also built this temple.  Every morning and evening, the people can hear the devotional songs of famous devotees being played in this temple that are quite soulful.
