Marredmilli is at a distance of 80 kilometers in the Rajahmundry – Bhadrachalam route. Forest department has developed eco tourism centers in dense forest. Vali-Sugriva medicinal plants conservation center, Pamuleru stream etc are the places of interest. Sleeping in the tents is a life time experience. Many private operators also run boats to Papikondalu from Rajahmundry and Pattiseema apart from AP Tourism and Anand Tourism. Nearly 20 boats are available. Ticket prices range from Rs.500 to Rs.600. Breakfast and meals are arranged by the boat management. Rajahmundry also has many interesting tourist spots like road-cum-rail Bridge, ISKON temple, Markandeya Swamy temple, Kotilingeswara Swamy Temple, Chitrangi Guest house, Dhavaleswaram Cotton barrage and Cotton museum. Dindi resorts which are in Rajole mandal are also a must visit. Beautiful guest houses are available. Special boats are also arranged for boating in River Godavari at night.
